Graceful Words (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates gracefulwords.co. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using our service, you agree to the practices described here.

We collect the minimum information necessary to deliver our service:

• Name. The name you provide when filling out the eulogy form, used solely to personalize the generated content.
• Payment information. All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full billing details on our servers. Stripe’s own privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.
• Eulogy content. The answers you submit through our form (memories, stories, details about your loved one). This content is sent to Anthropic’s API to generate your eulogy. We do not permanently store the content of your responses after your session ends.
• Usage data. Basic analytics (page views, session data) collected via cookies to help us understand how the site is used and improve our service.

• To generate and deliver your personalized eulogy.
• To process and verify your payment through Stripe.
• To improve the quality and performance of our service using anonymized analytics.
• To respond to support inquiries you initiate by contacting us.

We use the following third-party services in delivering Graceful Words:

• Stripe — Payment processing. Your payment details are transmitted directly to Stripe and governed by their privacy policy.
• Anthropic — AI content generation. The eulogy details you enter are transmitted to Anthropic’s API to produce your output. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their own privacy and data usage policies.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. Full stop.

We use standard browser cookies and basic analytics to understand site traffic and improve user experience. These cookies do not identify you personally. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some functionality may be affected.

Your eulogy content and form responses are processed in-session and are not stored on our servers after the session concludes. Payment records are retained by Stripe per their policies. Basic analytics data is retained in aggregate, anonymized form.

You may contact us at any time to inquire about what data we hold, request deletion, or raise a concern. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
